Cable Car Caroling
Spend your holiday season spreading cheer to those who need it most. The Center for Elderly Suicide Prevention and Grief Related Services, a program of Institute on Aging, celebrates its 23rd annual Cable Car Caroling on December 6, 2009. Join over 300 guests in support of services to San Francisco seniors. Participants board motorized cable cars and tour the city to carol at senior homes and residences. Afterwards the carolers come together for a warm holiday dinner, an exciting silent auction, and a raffle prize drawing. Visit www.cablecarcaroling.org for more information.

Everyone Can Dance Fundraiser
Help build community and end isolation for people with disabilities of all ages. Join DisabledCommunity.Org and help to lessen isolation in the lives of the people with disabilities, both young and old. The dance is open to people of all ages and abilities. When people don't get the opportunity to celebrate by going out to a prom or wedding or a club, it is very important to provide fun social opportunities in a mixed group of supportive participants.
The dance will feature AXIS Dance Company which will be kicking off the dance with an hour long dance class (http://www.axisdance.org). We hope that you or your friends will support this unforgettable night. A professional dee jay will spin diverse inter-generational dance music. Admission to the dance starts at $5 and up (based on an individuals

Training & Case Conference Series
Training provided on a diverse
set of important topics, presented by IOA experts. A didactic
presentation will be offered every first Thursday of the month
and will be followed by an applied case conference. At the
case conference, participants will have the opportunity to
discuss the material presented in their various clinical settings.
These case conferences will be lead by the presenter of the
prior didactic training. While we encourage people to attend
both sessions on each topic, partial CEU’s will be given
for either the case conference or the didactic presentation.
FREE. Refreshments provided. CEUs will be awareded for BBS, Psychology, and BRN. To
receive CEU credits, please bring your license number with you
