Loss, Grief & Bereavement Support
8-week Suicide Bereavement/Traumatic Loss Support Group
Details: San Francisco, 6pm
Open to people of any age who have lost a loved one or loved ones to
suicide or traumatic death. A $25 donation is gratefully accepted; no
one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Ongoing Drop-In Support Group
Once an individual has completed the 8-week group, he/she can come to the monthly drop-in Friday night grief group. This group meets (generally) on the last Friday of the month from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. The schedule may change periodically. Please check here for current meeting information.

Bereavement Spiritual Support Group
Details: Tuesday, 1/26 - 3/16, 6:30pm-8:30pm
Grief is a normal response to loss and sometimes it helps to be with
others. This group will provide a supportive context with both general
and specifically Jewish resources for the mourning process. Ideal participants
are those who have lost loved ones in the past year. These will be closed
(rather than drop-in) groups, requiring pre-registration with the facilitator.

Mourners, a program alliance of Bay Area Jewish Healing Center and Sinai

(Ongoing) Traumatic Loss Drop-In Group
Details: Saturdays, 10:30am - 12 noon, 3330 Geary Blvd., 3rd Floor East.
For adults of any age who have experienced the sudden, difficult, or
traumatic loss of a loved one. No RSVP required. $20 donations per session
gratefully accepted; no one is turned away if money is a problem.

(Ongoing) Support Group for Caregivers of People with Dementia
Open to caregivers, including friends, spouses, children, grandchildren, cousins,
etc. who provide direct care, long distance care, or offer support to
others.
