Memory loss is a common and confusing experience for anyone. IOA offers a variety of services to help assess, treat, and care for seniors and older adults with all levels of memory loss.
Geriatric Assessment Service
IOA provides memory and cognitive assessments for seniors and older adults. Our Geriatric Assessment Service is staffed with licensed Geropsychologist. Assessments are thorough and cover an array of needs that may affect a person's memory, including medical, psychological and social issues. Our multi-disciplinary approach brings in professionals with specialties in medicine, care management, psychology, neuropsychology, and occupational and physical therapy in order to thoroughly assess an individual's medical needs, provide diagnosis and recommend treatment and care options. On Lok Lifeways Treatment & Care
IOA provides two On Lok Lifeways centers to address health care needs for San Francisco seniors experiencing memory loss. On Lok's all-inclusive care features full medical care (both acute and long-term), prescription drugs, adult day care, personal care, physical therapy, transportation, and home care. San Franciscan's who are 55 or older, experiencing ongoing medical problems, memory loss, and/or need daily help with bathing, walking, eating or dressing are eligible. On Lok's services are particularly geared toward individual who may be considering a nursing home but prefer to remain at home. Learn More
