The Aging and Disability Resource Center

The Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC)

As of July 1st, 2009, a new Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) will be implemented by the Department of Aging and Adult Services (DAAS) and Episcopal Community Services of San Francisco. The center will serve as a one-stop shop for community members to get information and assistance with services for adults with disabilities and seniors. The center will provide consumers rights information and will help identify services that will help consumers to remain living independently in the community. This center will replace the current DAAS Neighborhood Resource Center programs.

The ADRC’s main office will be located at Canon Kip Senior Center, 705 Natoma at 8th Street, but will also have outstations at various community-based organizations and work with city agencies to identify underserved populations and provide outreach to those individuals in need of services for seniors, caregivers, and adults with disabilities. The ADRC will also provide bilingual staff in Cantonese, Mandarin, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog and Korean.
