Program Overview
Irene Swindells Center for Adult Day Services is a social day program serving individuals with mild to moderate memory loss. Participants are encouraged to enjoy a variety of structured activities that provide mental stimulation and promote physical health and personal successes in a comfortable and supportive environment. Our caring staff of trained professionals also provides education and support for family caregivers, enhancing the quality of life for everyone touched by memory loss.
What We Offer

- Activities tailored to the mental, emotional, and physical needs of adults with early stage memory loss, and customized to each individual’s ability and interests
- Physical activity and mental stimulation through indoor and outdoor games, exercise, and dance
- Creative and expressive activities using visual and performing arts
- Socialization and sharing of experiences to help reduce isolation
- Personal care assistance when needed
- Educational and support groups for families and assistance planning for on-going care
- Healthy meals and snacks
- Transportation to and from the participant’s home is available
Eligibility & Fees
This program is designed for adults with mild to moderate memory loss, and no significant health care needs. Services are available 2 to 5 days per week, with a tiered hourly and daily participation rate. Private pay and many long-term care insurance policies are accepted.
