Take and make calls on IOA’s Friendship Line

Isolated, vulnerable older and disabled adults depend on IOA (and you) for support, reassurance, counseling, crisis intervention, abuse prevention, safety checks, and information and referrals. IOA’s Friendship Line is an Accredited Crisis Center by the American Association of Suicidology and the only nationwide 24-hour phone line for older adults.

Volunteer at an IOA Adult Day Center

Lead or assist in projects where older adults socialize, learn, exercise and get creative at one of four IOA Centers in San Francisco. You might even share your skills to create a project of your own.
