Behind the Red Tape: Disposition, Ceremony & Legacy Planning

Tuesday, June 30, 12:30-2 p.m.  (1.5 Continuing Education units)

Are you a planner? Death is the one life event that is guaranteed, but plans are not always in place. A panel of death & eldercare experts will provide insight on creating an end-of-life plan.

How do you best prepare for death? It depends….

If you are a planner by nature, or out of personal or professional necessity, it’s essential to have the language, the resources, & the ability to reflect on personal culture & values—all of which are vital components for end-of-life preparation. With that said, end-of-life matters are often neither easy nor welcomed topics of conversation. This panel of compassionate & dedicated professionals will provide mindful and practical tools which will help you consider & develop an end-of-life plan. In addition, there will be personal sharing of the planning experience from the perspectives of a daughter, mother, & death-care professional. There will be time for questions.

Facilitator:

Stefanie Elkins, Continuum of Care Coach & Consultant, Be Present Care

Panelists:
