The Institute on Aging is still providing seniors and adults living with disabilities much needed support during this time of COVID-19. Our programs have been adjusted to meet the recommendations from the CDC and DPH, focusing on the health and safety of both our clients and staff. Protecting those we serve and the people who provide these services is our top priority. If you have questions about protective actions taken or would like to inquire about signing up for our services please call: 415-750-4111.
Institute on Aging works to enhance the quality of life for aging adults and adults living with disabilities, enabling them to maintain their health, well-being, independence and participation in the community. We provide innovative, community-based programs that enable our clients to live at home for as long as possible. We serve as an essential partner in the continuum of care by providing health services, social and emotional support, and education and advocacy.
We believe the future should be something to look forward to, at every age. This film was created to encourage and inspire the 42 million older adults in this country, and to help remind everyone that the hopes, dreams, and ambitions of those over 65 are not only alive and well; they are as vibrant and strong as ever.
