Healthy Aging for Your Brain and Body: Tips From the Latest Research

Join us at Institute on Aging’s Enrichment Center in the Presidio for a free educational talk presented by the Alzheimer’s Association of Northern California and Northern Nevada. Learn about the latest research and insights into how to make lifestyle choices as you age, and develop tools to help you incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging. Institute on Aging’s comprehensive dementia services program, Companioa, is proud to partner with the Alzheimer’s Association to offer this event to the community.

This event is free to attend, but registration is required. Doors open at 10:45am. Free parking is available in our lot. Additional parking is available in the overflow lot across the street adjacent to Colibri. Coffee and snacks will be served. Click here to register.

Speaker

Sue Horst has more than 23 years of leadership experience administering programs that serve elders and adults with disabilities in the Bay Area, developing strategic partnerships, and fostering organizational collaborations with a focus on multicultural and underserved communities. In addition to State of California Adult Teaching Credentials in General Education and Senior Citizen Activities, Sue holds a Master of Science in Recreational Administration with a minor in Gerontology from San Francisco State University.
